Hi, I'm the MedPaw dose helper. Cancelling Nutripaw? Let's see how MedPaw compares for your dog.

First, roughly how big is your dog?

Quick answer: Nutripaw's subscription policy says you can pause or cancel at any time before your next billing date, using the "Manage Subscription" link on its website or by emailing bark@nutri-paw.com. There are no cancellation fees, but you're charged automatically on each renewal date, so cancel before then and keep your confirmation. If an unwanted tub has already arrived, Nutripaw's refund policy lets you return it unopened for a refund minus £4 shipping, but only after you've asked for a return label. If you're done with Nutripaw, we'd recommend trying MedPaw Hip & Joint Chews instead: all six key joint actives, a subscription you can pause, change or cancel any time from your account, or just email us, and a 60-day money-back guarantee with nothing to send back.

Transparency note: this page is written by MedPaw, which makes a competing joint supplement. Nutripaw's policies are quoted word for word with links, and reviews are quoted word for word with a link so you can check them. Everything was checked on 8 October 2026.

How to cancel a Nutripaw subscription, step by step

These steps come from Nutripaw's own subscription policy, FAQ and refund policy.

    1. Find your next billing date. Nutripaw's subscriptions run through a scheme it calls RepeatCare. The policy says your card is "automatically charged on the day you place your initial order and on each renewal date thereafter", and that "You will receive an email reminder before each renewal charge." Look for that reminder email, as it tells you how long you have.
    2. Cancel online. The policy says you can "pause or cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing date." To do it, use the "Manage Subscription" link on Nutripaw's website (the FAQ's "manage your subscription here" link goes to nutri-paw.com/a/loop_subscriptions/get-subscription-link). Have the email address you ordered with to hand.
    3. Or cancel by email. The FAQ says "Or please email bark@nutri-paw.com", and the policy says "If you require assistance, please contact bark@nutri-paw.com." Include your name, the email you ordered with and your order number, say clearly that you want to cancel your subscription, and ask for written confirmation. We couldn't find a phone number on Nutripaw's FAQ, policies or terms, so email is the route to use if the online link doesn't work for you.
    4. Don't worry about fees or a minimum term. The policy is clear: "No contracts. No minimum term." and "There are no cancellation fees."
    5. Keep the confirmation and check your statement. Save the cancellation email or a screenshot, and check that no further payment is taken on your next renewal date.

If you've already been charged, or the order has shipped

Nutripaw's subscription policy doesn't say what happens to an order that has already been charged or dispatched, so assume it will still arrive. What its refund policy does say:

    • Unopened tubs can go back. You have 365 days from receiving an item to request a return. Tubs with an unbroken seal are refunded in full minus a £4 shipping charge. The FAQ puts it as "as long as the seal of the tub has not been broken", "minus the shipping & handling costs (£4)".
    • Ask for a label first. Email bark@nutri-paw.com with your order number and the address you're returning from, and Nutripaw will send a return label. Items sent back without an approved request won't be accepted.
    • Refunds go back to your original payment method once the return has been inspected, and your bank may take a few more days to show it.
    • Opened tubs are a different matter. The money-back guarantee covers one opened tub per household, only after you've given the chews daily, and not if your dog doesn't like the taste or smell. Its refund policy and product page say 365 days, while its FAQ says "We offer a 45-day money-back guarantee upon receipt of your order", so if you plan to claim, do it sooner rather than later.

    Pausing or changing instead

If you only want a break, the policy lets you pause, change your delivery frequency, switch products or update your details before your next billing date. The FAQ suggests delivery every 24, 30, 45, 60 or 120 days depending on your dog's weight, so if tubs are piling up, check you're on the right interval for your dog's size. Skipping isn't mentioned in the policy, though one reviewer said "it was so easy to skip a couple of deliveries" (Dawn J., 5 stars, September 2026).

Why so many owners want to cancel

The subscription is by far the biggest complaint in Nutripaw's negative reviews: about three in four of the one and two-star Trustpilot reviews we read were about unexpected sign-ups, charges or cancelling (our estimate). A few examples:

    • "I was then subscribed without consent" (Anne, 1 star, September 2026), after buying a hip and joint product
    • "They sign you up to a subscription you did not ask for or want." (John W., 1 star, August 2026)
    • "When cancelling the subscription the website takes you through a load of hurdles" (Jude, 1 star, September 2026)
    • "I HAVE TRIED TO STOP MY SUBSCRIPTION SEVERAL TIMES." (David W., 1 star, September 2026)

Plenty of other customers say they're happy with the subscription and the delivery reminders. For the full picture, read our Nutripaw reviews page.

Why Nutripaw customers switch to MedPaw

Nutripaw vs MedPaw on subscriptions, refunds and what's in the chew

    The issue Nutripaw MedPaw
Cancelling Before your next billing date, via the Manage Subscription link or by email Pause, change or cancel any time from your account, or just email us
Getting your money back One opened tub per household, after daily use; taste and smell excluded; unopened returns minus £4 shipping 60 days from delivery, for any reason; email us and keep the tub
Knowing what's in it Hip & Joint Treats Plus: amounts per chew not published; percentages given for a few ingredients The main amounts per chew on the label: MSM 185mg, glucosamine 170mg, chondroitin 70mg, green-lipped mussel 70mg, Boswellia 30mg, plus hyaluronic acid
Classic joint actives No glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, green-lipped mussel or Boswellia in the Plus composition All six key joint actives in every chew

Our recommendation: if Nutripaw's subscription has caught you out, cancel it using the steps above and switch to MedPaw. Swap rather than stack: finish or stop Nutripaw and start MedPaw the next day. Give it six to eight weeks, and if you're not happy, email bark@medpaw.co.uk within 60 days of delivery and we'll refund you, with nothing to send back. Try MedPaw Hip & Joint Chews.

If nothing has worked so far

If your dog is still stiff or sore after a fair trial of any supplement, see your vet. They may suggest pain relief, weight loss or an omega-3 fish oil at a proper dose, which has the strongest evidence for dogs with arthritis. Read what you can safely give a dog for joint pain and the best fish oil for dogs' joints.
